Our work with Brick Tile Company wasn't about simply increasing traffic.
The award recognises the transformation of The Brick Tile Company. Their ecommerce experience and the commercial growth achieved through a strategy combining SEO, UX, CRO, visual search and digital PR.
“This is an impressive website with a clear focus on the customer journey. The judges liked the thoughtful visual experience, intuitive navigation and impactful interactive features, with strong organic conversion growth providing promising evidence that the changes are delivering.”
UK eCommerce Awards 2026 Judges
For us, it's another piece of independent recognition for a campaign that has fundamentally changed the role organic search plays within the business.
From SEO channel to commercial growth engine
The objective was to transform organic search into the company's highest-performing acquisition channel while improving the experience customers encountered once they arrived on the website.

That meant looking beyond traditional SEO.
We worked across site architecture, category optimisation, content, technical SEO and digital PR, while also improving the visual customer journey, introducing interactive elements and expanding the brand's visibility through channels such as Pinterest visual search.
The results included:
Moving the highly competitive "brick slips" keyword from position 9 to position 2 on Google
Achieving 123+ new Page 1 keyword rankings
Increasing organic conversion rate from 1.14% to 2.23%
Increasing organic revenue by 330% during the measured three-month period
Generating approximately £70,000 in additional organic revenue during that quarter
Increasing organic transactions by 120% to 280
Most importantly, every commercial objective established for the campaign was achieved or exceeded.
Recognised for the customer experience
One of the most encouraging aspects of the UK eCommerce Awards feedback was the recognition of the website experience itself.
Judges praised the implementation of best-in-class website features, the emphasis placed on the visual user journey and the interactive nature of the website.
The doubling of organic conversion rate was also singled out as an "incredible" result.
That matters because our philosophy has increasingly been that generating qualified organic traffic is only half the job.
If those visitors arrive on a website that doesn't help them understand the product, visualise it, navigate effectively and ultimately buy, rankings alone have limited commercial value.
SEO, UX and conversion therefore need to work together.
Silver… and plenty still to improve

Of course, we wanted Gold.
One of the benefits of entering awards is having experienced independent judges scrutinise the work, and the feedback has given us plenty to think about.
In particular, the judges challenged us to go further in measuring the impact of individual website initiatives and customer experience, including metrics such as average order value, repeat purchasing, UX engagement and the commercial contribution of specific features.
That's exactly the type of feedback we want.
Winning recognition is great. Understanding how we can make the work even better is more valuable in the long term.
We'll take the Silver, learn from the feedback and keep pushing the campaign forward.
Congratulations to the entire Brick Tile Company team and to all of the winners at the UK eCommerce Awards 2026.
