Building organic growth, brick by brick
Our work together has been recognised in:
DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design Ecommerce Website of the Year
Best Ecommerce SEO Campaign
It’s particularly rewarding to see the partnership recognised across both the website experience and organic growth. The two nominations reflect the wider approach we’ve taken with The Brick Tile Company: aligning search visibility, ecommerce UX, content, technical SEO and authority around one goal – sustainable commercial growth.

The challenge
The Brick Tile Company is a home improvement brand that operates in a specialist market, serving everyone from homeowners discovering brick slips for the first time to architects, interior designers and experienced trade professionals via their Shopify website.
Our challenge was not simply to increase traffic. It was to make it easier for the right customers to discover products, understand their options and confidently move towards purchase.
That meant restructuring the website around real search intent, resolving keyword cannibalisation, repurposing existing content into commercial collection pages and improving how customers navigate by room, colour, style and application.
We also looked beyond traditional SEO. The wider strategy now incorporates conversion optimisation, visual search through Pinterest and Digital PR designed to grow The Brick Tile Company’s authority across the home, interiors and renovation space.
The commercial impact
The results have gone well beyond rankings:
£500,000 increase in revenue in FY25/26 compared with FY24/25
Organic search now generates more than double the revenue of paid search
123+ new Page 1 rankings across commercial search terms
The flagship term “brick slips” moved from Position 9 to Position 2
One of the most important shifts was prioritising commercial intent over vanity metrics. By repositioning existing blog content around the pages customers actually wanted when ready to buy, commercial collection pages gained approximately 500 organic clicks per week while informational content reduced by around 200 – a net gain of roughly 300 more purchase-ready visitors every week.
Beyond traditional search
As customer discovery continues to evolve, so has the strategy.
The Brick Tile Company’s Pinterest presence now generates more than 300,000 monthly views, while our Digital PR and Authority Building work has already secured coverage across publications including House Beautiful, Yahoo Style UK and Homebuilding & Renovating.
We’re also continuing to strengthen how the brand is discovered across emerging AI-powered search experiences alongside traditional Google search.
A partnership built around growth
“Kevin and the team have been exceptional from the start, understanding what our key issues are, finding the quick wins and identifying the areas that we can start longer-term improvements moving forward. They identified the data for measurement and reported back with excellent results, which we could also see in our own baselines through extra business.”
Joe Burton, Brand Director, The Brick Tile Company
To be shortlisted in both categories is a great recognition of what has been achieved so far, particularly against some exceptional ecommerce brands and agencies from across the UK.
More importantly, the work continues. We’re now building on the technical and commercial foundations through further content development, Digital PR, visual search and authority building.
The winners of the UK eCommerce Awards 2026 will be announced on 30 September.
For now, two shortlist places will do nicely.
